Licensing Information

If you have recently purchased a choral license, please register it HERE

Unlike a major publisher which sells printed music, Jabulani Music operates on the basis of licensing. This means that in return for purchasing one or more licneses you will receive a digital copy (PDF format) of all available keyboard and instrumental arrangements for that song. There are four kinds of licenses, available for purchase on each individual song page.

  • Single Copy License ($3.49) - This license entitles you to have one copy of the song for review or personal use. You are not permitted to make additional copies for choir or instrumentalists.
  • Choral 50 License ($19.95) - You get the same set of music in digital format, but you can make up to a maximum of fifty copies for choir/instrumentalists.
  • Choral 100 License ($34.95) - Same as above, but you can make up to a maximum of fifty copies for choir/instrumentalists.
  • Unlimited Song License ($44.95) - Finally, if you do not want to have to worry about keeping track of numbers, you may choose to get a song license for unlimited copies for your group.

And here are the license rules:

  • The license stays with YOU, or with your church/institution (not both), and cannot be shared with others.
  • You only have the right to make copies of the music for your group up to the number specified in the license. You may not sell or distribute this music to others, post it online, or profit from it in any way.
  • Licenses have no expiration date. If a song is published in the meantime, the original license persists as it was issued before the date of publication. However, the licenses does not extend to the editions that a publisher may produce, only to the edition provided with the license.
  • This license does NOT cover permission for congregational copies, mechanical recording rights, performance rights, etc. For information on these types of permissions please send us a message.
